Congratulations
Congratulations to Keith David!
I was priviledged this Summer to be cast in an film, "The Sensei". I was also priviledged to be on set to watch Keith David at work. This weekend this amazing actor, who's filmography includes "Platoon", "Where the Heart Is", "What About Mary", among my personal favorites, received an Emmy for his voice over talent as the narrator in the wonderful Ken Burns program, "Unforgivable Blackness: The Rise and Fall of Jack Johnson". What an honor to have watched this man at work, and what happiness I feel at having been able to watch him accept his award at the Creative Arts Awards on Saturday. If you haven't seen this Ken Burns program, watch for it to replay on PBS. It's first run was in late Winter/early Spring of 2005.
